I was born on the 10th March 1936 in the small town of Wallis Visp in Switzerland. My birth name was Joseph. I studied at Saint Maurice, before getting a degree in business and economics from the University of Lausanne in 1959. My first job was as a public relations officer fro the Valaisan Tourist Board.


I studied and worked hard, and found a position at the HQ of the Ice Hockey Federation. Eventually I took the role of General Secretary. Next I became involved with Longines the watch manufacture as the Director of Sports Timing and Relations. This lead to my involvement with the 1972 and 76 Olympic Games.


During the early 1970's I was elected as President of the World Society of Suspenders, an Organisation devoted to stoping women from replacing suspender belts with pantyhose. Needless to say my self righteous male ego, has lead to two failed marriages and only one son !


Despite this I have championed for the rights of children worldwide and The International Amateur Athletic Association awarded me the 'Global Award for Peace”, The Order of Merit from the IOC and The Golden Charter of Peace and Humanitarianism from the International Humanitarian League For Peace and Tolerance.


In 1975 I took the role of Technical Director, then General Secretary before my 1998 election President where I ruled supreme at the Federation Internationale de Football Association until 2016. Who am I ?
