I was born on the 15th of April five hundred and twenty three years ago in a small Tuscan Town, out of wedlock, to my father Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio a legal notary and my mother a young peasant girl by the name of Caterina.


The first five years of my life where spent in the hamlet of Abchiano, where I lived with my mother. Then in 1457 I moved in with my father and his 16 year old wife Albiera, the second of his four Wives.


I studied in Latin, mathematics, and geometry. At the age of fourteen I received an apprenticeship to Andrea di Cione, known as Verrocchio. His workshop was one of the finest in Florence. Here I studied theoretical and technical skills.


Aged twenty I qualified as a master in the Guild of Saint Luke, the guild of artist, doctors of medicine, and received my first two commissions. Which in turn lead to employment as a military architect and engineer during the second Italian War devising weapons to defend Venice from naval attack.


I will always be known for my inventions flying machines submarines and tanks, also my medical innovations such as blood transfusions medicines. But it paintings such as The Last Supper, and the La Gioconda . Who am I ?
